BASIC RULES / CONDITIONS OF OCCUPANCY

- Arrival: Arrival Time: 2 pm unless stated otherwise. Accommodation will be held up until 10pm on the day of arrival unless a full night’s deposit has been received.
- Departure: Departure Time: 11 am, any later a full night booking fee will apply
- Accounts: Balance of accounts are payable on arrival. Payment must be made for the full time booked. Strictly no refunds.
- Alcohol: Alcohol is only permitted to be consumed on your allocated site. Alcohol is not to be consumed around the park or on the beach. Excessive drinking and parties are forbidden.
- Barbecues: No solid fuel barbeques allowed. Accelerants are not to be used in ANY circumstances.
- Caravans: Including campervans must have an electrical warrant of fitness and comply with NZS3001:2008 and LPG Standard (NZS 5428:2006). All campervans and caravans must have their own wastewater container. Chemical toilets must be emptied in dump stations.
- Children: Children to be controlled and supervised by parents at all times.
- Conduct: Reasonable quietness between 10pm and 7am. Some discretion is allowed on New Year’s Eve. Reasonable behaviour and dress at all times. No liquor to be consumed in common areas and park except on allocated site. Excessive drinking and parties are forbidden. Consideration must be shown at all times to other guests.
- Damage: Cost of damage to property or accommodation will be recovered.
- Sites: All sites are marked; please ensure you remain within your site boundary at all times.
- Gang Insignia: Gang Insignia including patches must not be worn or displayed in the Park.
Water use: Water is precious here, we do not allow washing of any vehicles, boats or gear during Dec-Feb. Water is for cooking, drinking, showers and toilets only. The tap by the dumping station is non-potable.
- Parking: One vehicle to be parked on own site only. Parking is not allowed on driveways. Boats and trailers are to be parked near your site and out of driveways and must not block access to others and their sites.
- Pets: Well behaved dogs allowed only. They must be on a leash at all times, no dogs allowed in common areas i,e, kitchen, toilets, shop etc. You must clean up after your dog.
- Rubbish: All rubbish and recyclables are campers’ responsibility; you can purchase council bags or stickers the camp shop. Nearest rubbish station is in Oakura Bay or pickup is Monday 7.30am at camp entrance, don’t take your rubbish out the day before as dogs and birds will rip the bags open.
- Speed: Vehicle speed in park is limited to a walking pace only.
- Electricity: Electricity can only be connected through an approved isolating transformer or RCD Safety Switch or lead. No generators to be used on site.
- Visitors: Visitors are allowed by arrangement with the management. Your visitors are your responsibility and should depart by 10pm. Visitor’s vehicles are to be left outside the park or in visitor’s car park. Any charge for visitors, if not paid, will be your responsibility.
